I may have even asked this before, but didn't end up needing to use the process. I am looking for a utility that allows me to easily extract a section of video from a DVD for further editing. This particular DVD is not copy-protected, so I don't need something that will bypass the protection. Any help would be appreciated.

What program came with your comp or DVD burner? I usually use what came with my TV tuner card, but I also use the Nero software that came with my burner.

I use VirtualDubMod or DVD Decrypter for this. If it's not encrypted, I think you can load the VOB files directly into VirtualDubMod. I like DVD Decrypter though because I can select whatever chapters I want, and I can split the video and audio tracks while I rip it. DVD Decrypter might be a little tricky to come by these days, but I have a copy on my personal webserver if you want to go that route.
