It's fucking with me when I try to burn cds. It's not the cd's, and I have enough hard drive to burn them. It's just fucking up.
It's like it's burning them too quick, yet I have it set on the slowest speed. What's going on?

DO you have the newest upgrade installed?

I do not. But, I used to. I didn't like the interface. It didn't stop it from working before though.

How long have you had the CD-R burner? I had a problem with a bad burner awhile ago. It just seemed to burn shit a little fucked up every now and then. Like it would burn a CD-R and you'd hear fucking skips as you played it. I sent a CD-R with a skip on it to a guy's underground compilation CD once. Every fucking time I listen to that track on the CD I want to fucking spit.

Doesn't WMP automatically put 2 second gaps between tracks? I don't believe they have the disc-at-once option like most other CD burning software has.
That's reason enough for me to never use that program.

That's the type of shit that makes you want to shoot your computer with an AR-15 in the basement.

So it worked. You installed an upgrade, didn't like the interface and uninstalled the upgrade.
Did you try to re-install the upgrade and see if it worked correctly after?
I would think that the upgrade removal fucked up the original install. You may want to try to completely remove WMP then download and reinstall the version you like.
I would use nero instead although as others have mentioned.
