He was one of the best for along time. Its good to see a guy like Couture walk away with his mind and health.

Almost sounds like a gimmick to lure Fedor Emelianenko in. He's retired once before and I can't take this too seriously. It's been reported the UFC has been close to signing Fedor and the only thing holding them apart was Fedor wanted a UFC event in mother russia and that he could fight in some side events.

I love Couture but it's probably best for him because he wouldn't survive the first round with Fedor.

UFC runs their promotions not that much different from wresting, plenty of gimmicks.

Apparently Fedor's Pride contract must have run out & he signed with M-1 (I've heard of K-1, but M-1?)...and Randy figured that if he wasn't going to get the dream match with Fedor he has nothing left to prove in the octagon. Too bad for UFC.
