John Lennon, "Imagine" for "The Killing Fields" is good.
"Lime in the Coconut" - Reservoir Dogs
"Jailhouse Rock" - Blues Brothers
Matrix was the first that came to my mind - fucking perfect. Fight Club came third after Strangelove but maybe because I hear that song every night in every bar in Cambodia for some reason.

Rushmore - The Faces "Ooh La La"
I would also say the Beach Boys "God Only Knows" in Boogie Nights, but it's actually not the very end of the movie, because then you have that final scene with Mark Wahlberg pulling out his prosthetic cock.

One that recently struck me was "Chick Habit" by April March at the end of Death Proof.
If you don't want to know the ending, don't watch the clip.

I've always wondered something. The first Nightmare on Elm St. ended with "Welcome to the Jungle". Imdb says the movie came out in '84, and Wikipedia says Guns N Roses was formed in '85. Which one is right?

I don't remember that song being in the movie at all. I thought it ended with a typical cheesy 80s horror movie song. It's been years since I've seen it though. I don't think Appetite for Destruction came out until 1986.

I saw it on video, so maybe it was added later. I'm positive it was Nightmare one, though.

Good call. I'm ashamed that I forgot that.
Which reminds me: "Feel Flows" during the end of "Almost Famous".

I also liked "Let It Snow!" by Vaughn Monroe at the end of Die Hard. Works so well considering the L.A. setting and Al Powell was singing it earlier in the film.

Another great song/movie ending was from another Coen brothers movie.
Angel Band. I don't know who originally wrote this, but I did like it when the Wharvey gals where singing and it faded to the blind oracle finishing the song.
