why is it okay to show images of animals fighting on tv?

should pokemon be seriously looked at as being something that says its okay for animals to pinned against each other in battle's almost to the death?

well, if a pokemon is defeated, they 'faint'. So, it's not like your drowning it, electrocuting it, hanging it, and burying it in the yard. But, boy howdy, would I like to teach some of the sucky pokemon a learn. "This is what happens to you when you don't learn awesome attacks you freaking Squirtle, you get branded."

I agree digging is a waste of time. I pile up carcasses and light em on fire. Its alot easier on the back and can be really nice to look at, at a homecoming rally.

They don't bleed, die, get abused for not winning battles (some get released back into the "wild"), and it's a fucking anime.

You wanna bring Monster Rancher into the mix too? At least in that, you can pretty much act like an absolute asshole enough to actually kill your monster.(Feeding it crap food, not letting it rest, losing alot of tournament fights,etc)
