I have the game, and I have tried it. But it is way too slow. I can only watch cartoon characters light themselves on fire for so long.

I love that game. I bought the expansion pack "Livin' Large" and I can't wait to get the new one. Even when you get bored with that game, you can just make them fall asleep in their own piss. It's hours of fun.

OMG..i have the sims AND i just bought hot date...i don't have the other expansion packs cause i'm too cheap, but hot date seemed cool...and it is, the only problem is it's made for win 95 and 98, i have sucky win me..it runs slow on my comp. and i get an error message occasionally.


i also just bought rollercoaster tycoon, it's my new addiction

Has anyone made Rf.Net characters on the game itself?

I'm working on mine right now. I wonder how many ppl I can fit in the house.

i hate it when i was playing the sims for a month straigt then my chick dies when she turned on the light switch how did she get killed by that dammit and then my dude came homw and like got depresed and wanted to kill him self

That game is worse than crack in terms of addictiveness. Isn't it creepy when someone dies in your house and their little urn just sits on the floor and you cant move it. Sometimes I like to build rooms with no doors or windows and only the crappy gas stove and see how long it takes them to light themselves on fire.

Whats the difference between living large and that other expansion pack?

Im a sucker so I'll probably shell out my $30.00 and do nothing but play Hot Date for three weeks. Then I'll try and find a life again. However I'm worried that getting the new Sims will bite into my time rummaging around on this board. Decisions, decisions.

I once had a girlfriend...but now I lost her to the Sims. I once had a boyfriend who hated me all up in his face..now I find something else to do and he gets all pissy :P

I think Hot Date has an actual town where you can mingle amongst other Sims..and like all expansion packs has over 100 new items to use.

Did you ever have them make a potion, then drink it? They can lose control of their bodily functions...its cool..You can also have Santa come and leave them presents in the middle of the night

yeah hot date has a downtown area. you can make your own but it has one already created for you. you can make a different downtown for each neighborhood that you have....ALSO there's new characters that hang out downtown and you can call them up and hang with them even though they don't live in the neighborhood. you don't save your games actually IN the downtown area, but your friends level save and you get to pick out gifts...

you get knew options for what you actually say to someone when you talk, what to ask them and stuff. ummm..what else....

you have to call a cab and take it downtown..

anyway yeah i'm an addict..

what's a life???
