in addition to having the last posted time, you should include the last posted person..you know like they're screen name or whatever...

that is all..discuss...

You click on the topic and the last person who replied to that topic or the person at the botom of the screen of the last page if there are more than one IS the person who last posted. First person or person who started the topic would be the person on the top pof the screen of the first page if there are more than one page

no no no no..that's not what i mean..i mean so we don't have to click on the topic...on the page where there's the list of the threads, on the far right it says last post 11/25 8:56 or whatever...in that column it should have the sn of the person who last posted.

am i making sense?

i'm only suggesting this cause i find it very convenient at another message board that i mod for.

Well, since this is the board nitpick thread, I'd love to have the threads open to the last page instead of the first one in each thread. If I've been following a thread, I've seen the first page already! Like I said, nitpicking...

A few Points:

1. I've seen the "Last Poster" thing on other boards but I think it's fairly useless. As long as you accept cookies and refresh, there's a cool little thing next to the thread that says whether the thread has been posted to since your last visit. That will tell you if anyone responded after you.

2. FrenchBreadPizzaGuy: Your sig has to be 300X100. It makes the site look better and run smoother.
