Archiving stuff to DVDs

I want to archive the stuff from my external hard drive to DVDs.

What I am looking for is some kind of indexing software that will keep track of what files are on which disc.

Any suggestions ?

I need something like this for my massive porn collection. I thought about writing a simple database and just assigning a number to each disc. Hmm... Might be something to do this weekend.

i usually just use an excel spreadsheet for this kind of stuff
