You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

Why is it that on this site sometimes the embedding video code works, and other times it does not?

I personally am batting .000 on embedding videos. Promises were made by Jon, but nothing ever came of them. I'm thinking of holding back my monthly dues until the issue is addressed.

It just seems that you can at some times and at other time you cannot.

Yesterday I embedded a couple, but today, no such luck.

copying and pasting the "embed video" line from youtube right into the text box has worked just fine for me

Well NOW it's working, but an hour ago it wasn't. Hmmmm.

a lot of time you go to copy the link, and the browser will cut off part of the link by mistake, hence making it not work here. always make sure you scroll all the way from the beggining to the end of the link and then copy it
