Mark Diionno is a bitter former sports columnist. What the Rutgers fans did was tame compared to other teams fanbases like Penn State, LSU, and others.

The fans probably didn't even put together the fact that people who go to the Naval Academy are actually soldiers who will *possibly* serve in Iraq.

I'm an alum. so I've been a fan for over twenty years. I was at the season opener, and I'll be at the Homecoming game this Saturday. Though I was not at the Navy game, based on what I saw in week one, I'd like to say that I agree completely with the above quote.

LSU had to take a fucking ad out in several papers IMPLORING their fans to be classy to the Virginia Tech players and fans when they played last week. Doesn't that say "problem" to you?
