I can think of two that really impress me as far as really setting the mood for the show and just plain badass.

The Sopranos. It was the exact same commute that I took day after day after day. Sometimes I'd just imagine that I was Tony Soprano, driving down the Turnpike, with the world swinging from my nuts. Then I'd get home to my miserable, suburban, pussy-whipped existence.

if you're watching it in a room of at least 3 people, i guarantee at least one will insist on singing it.

I think if you played that music anywhere you drive, you get this cool feeling in your bones. "I may wack a snitch or eat a meatball parm....I don't know, I'll see how the day goes." The experience is even better if your smoking a cigar.

That's one hell of a party for two. I thought they'd have razor blades to make little cuts on each other.

I've recently gotten into Taxi and I love the opening of it. Very relaxing. Doesn't remind you of the traffic and noise of the city.

I really think "Get Smart" is the top of the pyramid, but I offer these suggestions:

1) The Simpsons

2) And this classic:
