I saw a commercial for one (I think it's one of the restless leg syndrome drugs) that says it may cause impulsive gambling. Seriously!

I found it. It also makes you HORNY (http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2007/08/09/primarysource/entry3152310.shtml). Are they sure they didn't just make pills out of cocaine? Oh, wait. That wouldn't do much to stop the jimmie leg.

Haha yes, you noticed that too!

It is indeed the commercial for Requip, used to treat Restless Leg Syndrome.

Taken directly from their commerical and website:

"Also tell your doctor if you experience new or increased gambling, sexual, or other intense urges while taking Requip."

Maybe one should take Requip to counter act the sexual side effects of some Anti-Depressants!!

DVR? I barely have cable and even with that there's a few popular commercials that I am apparently missing out on. Makes me so mad I have these intese urges to punch people!! Argh!! Nargh!! Grr!! Grr!! then I will just blame the Requip.

Im still pretty young and my blood pressure/cholestorol levels are all normal and fine, so no worries really. I did schedule a follow up 1 month from now though.

Why are you taking this appetite depressant? Have you tried dieting with excersise? How old are you? where your doctor would recommend drug therepy before all other types of interventions?

Yeah, my problem is that I will get on a very heavy regiment and I will drop a lot of weight, eating 6 meals a day, working out, and cardio, but my problem is I hit a wall at 270lbs, and shit all goes downhill from there. My main problem is portion control I guess, so this will help me get over that 270 hump. I am not hugely obese or anything, 6'4" and 290lbs right now, Im trying to get down to 250 though.

heres another....

http://www.askdocweb.com/phentermine.html

What side effects do users of phentermine report?
A few people have mood swings
Agitation
Depression
Drowsiness
Elevated blood pressure
Increased blood pressure
Irritability
Nervousness
Rapid or irregular heart beats.
Tiredness

During the first few days you may have dry mouth or an unpleasant taste in your mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach upset or constipation. This is just your body adjusting to the Phentermine. Tell your doctor if these effects persist or become bothersome.

Thanks, the big push starts after this weekend (too many things this weekend haha), back to my chicken and brown rice diet plan (which is essentially grilled chicken and brown rice with any kind of sauce I can make with vegetables, fat free mayo or yogurt, and spices) and smoothies for breakfast.
