Because SinA demands it, I NEED to know.

Please explain it like you're talking to a retarded monkey with ADD because I apparently am one when it comes to matters of the intrawebs.

Just go to YouTube or wherever the video is that you want and copy the Embed link, not the URL one. Then just paste it all in your message.

Figured I'd better test it...

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/W6itFQ1qYA0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/W6itFQ1qYA0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Hot.

Good job.

Smails, you can learn a lot from zentraed. Embed your videos by copy/pasting that code directly (no need to use the photo-tool), but try to avoid videos that aren't about chicks.

Does anybody else not get any audio on the embedded Youtube videos? Doesn't matter whether I'm using Explorer or Firefox. I always have to go to Youtube to watch the video with audio.

I posted about this in the Youtube thread. I paste the code, but when I post it, the code changes and doesn't work. Part of it just disappears.

That's it! I officially give up. When I post the code, to me it looks EXACTLY like what SinA has posted. Then I hit the post button and get this shit. Fuck it! You people will just have to continue to click on my links to get my comedic gems. FTW!

Judge and Papa, you both have URL tags in your posts now. if you delete those, then it should work. what web browsers are you guys using?

it's an extra step, but if you paste the original embed info into something like notepad, and then compare it your rf.net post, you can figure out what's wrong and make an edit

From what I understand, something is happening to their HTML code when they hit post. So they they can have it all in there perfect in edit mode, but when they hit post, it gets all fucked up. The only thing I can think of is that they have some sort of plug-in installed that is altering the HTML when they post.
