Fuck Mike Vick. This guy makes defenders loose sleep at night.

And they said he couldn't do it in the NFL.

Impressive.

But he should have waited for a regular season game. Now they'll be expecting it and prepared.

He ran a 4.49 40 at the NFL Combine. That is insane for a Fullback. He had 28 reps in the bench press. That is insane for a Halfback. This guy has the potential to be a beast if he can stay healthy.

But D'Backs always tackle like that. No matter what he will probably get away with doing this 5-10 a year. He did in college every year. D'Backs just dont know how to tackle they tackle with their heads down and dont wrap their arms.

Hes not a true Fullback. He was a halfback his whole career but they changed him to fullback last year. Even in the pros he will be used as both. I think he will be the starting fullback and will be the halfback on 3rd downs. He should have a mike alstot type of a career with a little less size or power but with more speed.

That was my point. He's a little too small and fast to be a fulltime fullback and he's a little to big and slow to be a fulltime halfback. He's his own entity and I think he's going to do fine in the NFL. I don't see him as a Mike Alstot at all. Alstot's game was in the red zone running between the tackles. 3 yards and a cloud of dust. If Leonard is going to succeed he's going to have to make guys miss in the open field by either out running them or breaking an arm tackle. He's going to depend heavily on his explosiveness and his ability to break a play wide open.

Alstott was not just a re zone back, he had 600,800 and 900 yard seasons. He avg around 650 yards rushing and 200 yards receiving per season for his first 7 seasons (he has been hurt the past 4 years plus this year). Those are some nice #'s for any non full time running back. If he can have a career like Alstot he will have had a great year. Since he will be considered a fullback. he will probably be the NFC's probowl fullback for many years.

On a side note Alstot should be a hall of famer. He has the best #'s as a fullback in NFL history. 7500 total yards and 71 total td's. He should get the nod.

No doubt that he was a great back but his career 3.7 yards per carry doesn't exactly scream open field runner. I don't see any reason for Alstott not to be in the Hall of Fame. Injuries and short arms stalled his career. If could've just held onto that ball a little tighter(32 career fumbles 25 career fumbles lost) he would've seen 150+ touches every year.

Besides having one of the greatest names in football, Sam Gash was one of the best fullbacks in the game...He went to the Pro Bowl one season without having carrying the ball once...Just an amazing player to watch block people.

Before the end of the season you're going to see someone hit him high and turn him into a helicopter. Not impressed.

it'd be cool to see if he could do some marcus allen type stuff around the goal-line.

The Competition is gonna be a lil tougher then the Big East and the 3rd Team Oakland Raiders..

These safeties will adapt, and he will get clocked

preferibly by a blindside hit by Ray Lewis. that would be fun to watch
