Well the first review from IGN reveals that this game is as awesome as was expected.

A score of 9.5 out of 10 is a great score and it is said to be the best Wii game yet. Even though that's no surprise what really has me excited is the mention of amazing controls. The heart of the system is it's controls so hearing that this game puts it to use like no other is great news. I have mine preordered on buy.com and just sitting here waiting patiently.

Anyone else dieing with anticipation waiting for their order??

Yeah, I'm stoked about this game, too. I dl'ed the preview from the shop channel and was impressed and immediately impatient for it's release. This game should keep me occupied while I'm sitting at home watching the baby.

At least until the new Zelda comes out.

It's for free on the Shop Channel, under Wii Ware. It's been out for a few weeks. They've also released Metroid and Super Metroid on the VC.

Not really much of a preview though, just a handfull of quick movie clips of the game, its not like its a playable demo.

This is already available for download apparently on some of the sites, if you have a modded wii. Reviews ive read are amazing.

I can not wait to play this. I downloaded Super Metroid last week on the Virtual Console. That is a great game. For some reason I never played that one, even though I have played just about every other Metroid game. The new one looks great!

I've been playing it and it kicks ass. This game is definitely about immersing the player into the game by using the wiimote's capabilities. Accurate controls and incredibly cool game play makes this the best wii game yet. I think its a must have for anyone with a wii.

Keep playing. He only does that for the "intro" piece of the game.

I heard this game had a very weak storyline which is an oddity considering that Metroid games usually have zero dialogue and manage to be good storylines nonetheless.

well i'm about halfway in and i'm enjoying it very much. a lot of the background story is optional to read in your logbook.
