im putting my moms music on her hard drive but when i do all that comes up in itunes is "track 0X" Im wondering if anyone knows how to import the track information, ect.
and since ive been doing it for 3 days if anyone knows how to do it without re-importing

Were you not connected to the internet when you were importing? If so, that's why you didn't get any track info. I hate to tell you this, but I don't think there's an easy way to add the track info after the fact, so you may be out of luck.

are they original cd's?

you can only get artist info from original cd's or exact copies, the info is dependent on song length/tracks/etc.

if you are copying mp3's that are already on a hard drive, then that would mean they didn't have the proper ID3 tags, and you will have to manually put them in.

if you have an entire CD in itunes, and you didn't query for artist info you can select all the songs, go to advanced, and select "get CD track names" but this will only work with complete CD's.

You may want to go to your itunes preferences, go to the advanced tab, and make sure you have "automatically retrieve CD info from internet" selected.

try right clicking on the track, a pop up should appear, then click on track info. you should be able to change all of the info at that point.
