Anyone know how to tether a cell phone via bluetooth to a laptop and is it as a "modem"?

you use it as a dial-up networking device, so you need to have a phone that supports that profile. then you sync up with your computer's bluetooth, and dial whatever number your carrier uses and put in your login info. i used to do it with my sprint phone.

Could you put that into mongoloid for me? I have a Blackjack, which I'm pretty sure can do this, I just have no clue. Thanks.

Or lack thereof.
Why did I ever want to do this? I can't even imagine why I would have needed to do this.

shrug.... a bluetooth tether uses less power from the phone then straight up wi-fi hot spotting. Of course, this is from 4 years ago. Who knows.
People want to do this all the time now, especially with ipads.
