My peak moment of dislike for this "suicide" song came when I was walking through a Wal-Mart and they were piping it through the PA system. The environment, the music, everything was fucked. The place was packed and this crappy song, that people love, was flowing through the place. Surreal maybe the descriptive word.

Somebody mentioned The Wall by Pink Floyd. . .I raise you that godawful Hello, I Love You song off the soundtrack for the last mimzy that came out last year. (I hate Floyd in general because it makes me feel like someone skipped me in the puff-puff-pass. It's godawful to listen to it straight, sober and driving the Turnpike.)

Whoever mentioned the Mighty Zep doesn't hate Zeppelin; you hate Robert Plant. I can understand that; his voice is a bit much to get used to, true. The only time it's vaguely interesting is during the interlude segment of Whole Lotta Love where his voice is overlaid with sawmill noises; they've got almost the same resonance.
