For anyone who watched the most recent episode "The Devil's Threesome"...does anyone know the name of the song used in the end credits? It sounded very Stevie Ray Vaughan-ish, but the copy of the show I watched cut off too quickly for me to tell for sure.

I went to the Showtime page which lists some of the music used in the episode but it doesn't say what was used where. And I'm not sure if it's editted by fans like wiki, or if it is 100% official. The closest I can get seems to be a song called "Keep On" by Champion. Anyone familiar with it? I'm not & the only version I found in a quick YouTube search was a live version that didn't quite sound the same.

I figured one of our music savants could help me out.

It was my can't miss show this year, before Dexter came back. Every part of the show I found fascinating. I thought a lot of the acting (especially the little girl) was amazing. I also cannot wait for season 2.

I just cant stand her... she brings the show down for me. Maybe its the idea of kids in general ... but she is so misplaced in this show.

On a really quick side note, Dexter introduced me to this show... I got Showtime for that... then this show introduced me to Weeds - which I also really like. The only one I haven't got into yet is Brotherhood... and I don't think I will... but Showtime really is well worth having over HBO right now... wasnt sure I would ever say that.

I stumbled upon the commercials for this show (Brotherhood) while watching Dexter & Californication. It looked interesting so I downloaded the first two seasons. I ran through the episodes in about a week & really enjoyed it. It's not exactly on par with the first three seasons of the Sopranos, but it's definitely an entertaining show & holds your attention (and a topless Anabeth Gish in the first episode didn't exactly hurt it's chances of me watching that second episode & getting hooked).

As for Californication, I'm really enjoying this season. The dinner party episode was one of the biggest clusterfucks/best episodes of television I've seen in a long time. When an e-altered Runkle stabbed Ashby in the leg with a ballpoint pen while Ashby was trying to get his epi-pen out of his pocket, I almost fell out of my chair laughing.

The Runkles have been fantastic this season. When Daisy came to Marcy's wax shop to tell Charlie she'd been blackballed & Charlie responded, "is that some kind of inter-racial t-bag thing?"...I thought my brother was going to pass out from laughing so hard. Yes, it was a line on par with 8th grade fart humor, but Runkle's deadpan facial expression made it f'n hilarious.

Biggest question yet, How can Californication Season 3 come back if possible since all the problems that happened to David Duchovy this year (probably due to the Show)... Its sad I don't think Season 3 is a possiblity without David's character getting recasted, which would Destroy the show.

Hank's Tiger Woods fist pump at the black baby was one of the funniest moments of the season...perhaps second to only Runkle stabbing Ashby in the leg with a ballpoint pen during the clusterfuck dinner episode.

A very good season overall. Not as good as season 1, but it would have been impossible to recreate the magic that was season 1 & I'm glad they didn't stumble over themselves trying to do that & make season 2 a failure in the process.

Season 2 may have been funnier than season 1, though, mostly on the backs of the Runkles. With assists to Ashby & the Artist Within.

All in all, can't wait for season 3, but just like I said after the first season it'll be very interesting to see where they go with everything. Hopefully the very talented writing staff will surprise me again.

And what's the over/under on the # of episodes before Karen comes back to the west coast? Or something that brings the two of them back together? I figure she'll so about 2 episodes Chrissy Snow style (cutaways to her on the phone with Hank) before they put the two of them back together somehow.

I think season 2 played very diff than season 1, so I am willing to figure that they will figure it out for season 3.

I mean after the season 1 finale/cliffhanger, you never would have predicted the ashby/runkles stuff.

I fucking loved that episode...it was fantastic and had me dying laughing from start to end. The best was the end with the stripper going "where are my fucking clothes??" I love Kathleen Turner this season, but hate Rick Springfield. He is fucking awful...no more Rick Springfield.

Pamela Adlon and Duchoveny are the two I notice it with more than anyone. It is like they are using that spray on tan shit or something and it is starting to fade or something. I thought the finale was just as great as dexter. I like how we really dont know exactly what was said. Its odd that the one woman that ruined Hank he never was cheating on Karen. He and Karen were broken up at the time and Mia tricked him by never telling him she was 16. I wonder what hurt Karen the most. I just finished watching it now...wow!! That was a powerful episode. Even though this show is a comedy for the most part I was just feeling his anguish there. Does he come clean and get fucked over? Does he keep quiet and really get fucked over? When Mia showed up, I was sitting there like "When is this bomb going to drop?" I thought Mia's new BF was going to hit on Hank...not go with the ploy he was going after.

And as for Karen, what hurt the most? The fact that he did it to a 16 year old. The fact that it was Bills daughter and she left Bill for Hank. The fact that he did keep it secret so long. The fact that if the agent wasn't involved Hank would have of taken it to his grave...that she knows Hank would be infuriated if some dude did that to his daughter (of which I think that is what will develop, from the conversation Becca was having with Hank.) Also look at it this way, Hank goes over to Mia's to try and settle it, and breaks into a fight. And out of all the fights we ever saw Hank get into in this series, none was more vicious than this one. Hank was genuinely trying to kill that fucking guy to keep his secret safe...it might not have of been his intention when he went over there, but he had that "temporary insanity" going in that moment. Mia had to stop Hank, not her BF.

And finally when you look at Karen's lips you can tell what she was saying. She knew that now she was with a guy who is going to really become disgraced, and that disgrace would carry over to his family as well. Becca is already in a delicate position as it is with the way her family life is. Imagine whats going to happen once all that shit comes to light (if it does.) Very, very powerful ending to this season (in spite of there being a couple of throw away episodes this season) and am wondering where the tone of the show is going to go after this finale...

who knows what the tone will be? I think they can really change things and go much darker now but they always manage to find a humorous spin. I dont know how true it is but I read next season will deal with hank goin through the legal system. They also said he's finally hit they bottom so maybe he'll bang crack whores. I'm glad that Charlie will be working with Colini's book. That should be a source of comedy.

I'm amazed how they found a way for Mia to come across as sympathetic. They made her agent look like a complete scumbag and now she's stuck going along with it even though she cares about Karen and Becca.

I think the Mia thing may not come to light...or the agent will do rumors via a TMZ like outlet. But when push comes to shove we see Mia deny it publicly in order to protect Hank and his family. I can see the story going in that direction as part of the ending to season 4, but this is only a speculative possibility.

Hank did strike a cop, and he is only a year removed from his DWI stint that we saw in season 2. But you do have to wonder more what Karen is pissed about. The fact that Hank fucked Mia at all? Or even worse, the fact that he wrote the book about that and everyone can read it? Either way, it shall make for an interesting Season 4.

And it was nice to see Susan Sarandon's daughter show her titties there in the pool. And also I agree with the Colini story-line, I think that will provide a lot of humor in the next season. Personally, I thought Kathleen Turner was fucking great this season as a recurring guest role, but Rick Springfield fucking sucked. I just know that the finale had me cringing all around with Hank's life completely spiraling out of control...

I forgot how much I love this show. I think they went away from what made this show great the 1st season. This show, like entourage was meant for men. We finally had guys acted like we all would love to and fucking every hot piece of ass out there. But just like Entourage the show seemed to move away from that and became like every other show and men are bad and women are always right etc. It was nice to see Moody back to his old ways.
