My favorite part of this whole Winehouse meltdown is that it looks like the Austin City Limits Festival has replaced her in the line up with Cold War Kids. I'm very happy about that. Although, it would have been kinda cool to be able to say I got a chance to see her before she died, I guess.

Personally, I find her "difference" is that she's insanely derivative and not really good at what she's ripping off. Her songs are all produced and digitally boosted/cleaned up out the ying-yang, which sets her very comfortably in the same realm of the pop tarts people say she's so different from. In my opinion, she's almost exactly the same as Joss Stone...she's just uglier, gets wasted and stoned, and lazily rips off a different era of black music.
