With our favorite teams come favorite players.

But I know some of us might like that third stringer; the benchwarmer; the guy in garbage time. It could be anyone.

The only restriction I'm putting on this is that you can't name a scrub who was a hero in the clutch, like Jim Leyritz.

Last year, my favorite scrub was Littlejohn Flowers; this year I'm going with Brad Smith (as it was last year) but I don't think he's gonna be a scrub for long given his play so far.

When I was younger I always rooted for Wade Flaherty when he was on the Sharks. He wasn't that good, but damn the helmet design he had was niooooce.

As for Scrubs, I enjoy Ted the Lawyer and Janitor.

I just watched videos of complete non-seqiturs of Bell Biv Devoe's "Poison", a satire on sitcoms dealing with terminal cancer, a floating head, siamese twins, a donkey show, and a karate breakdown.

What were you saying about this show having nothing in common with Family Guy?

Yeah, stuff like the floating head doctor is totally random, but the rest are all actually parts of the episode or character arcs, or just extensions of the daydream aspects of the show established since day one, not just random, "hey, remember when we did something that has absolutely nothing to do with us or the episode at hand but makes people think of a random pop culture event?"

Sorry, but I fucking hate Family Guy v.2.0. It's the laziest show on TV and it's completely redundant with the existence of Robot Chicken.

No, I view RC as what FG should just become ever since it returned...essentially an animated sketch comedy show steeped in pop culture and "hey, remember..." references. RC doesn't pretend to be something else and revels in its randomness.

It just bugs me that FG went out of its way to rip off God knows how many other shows to have semblences of regular characters and a plot and then just chucked it all out the window for a bunch of cheap and easy jokes. To me, that's just shitty writing.
