Entire Dark Horse run, just a small crease in one book.

That's considered normal wear and tear. They have been read twice so they are not mint, but its a pretty good deal considering each one cost over $10 individually.

Do this on eBay. We're not an online marketplace.

1) Normal wear and tear does not apply when comic books are involved.

2) Not mint? They're lucky if they're fine.

3) You don't even know what they originally cost? I own the first two volumes and know exactly what I spent on them.

4) I know how many times I've read my copies of Akira and anyone who picks them off my shelf will think they were brand new from the bookstore.

As James said, take them to ebay. No comic collector, which is what most of the people visiting this forum to discuss comics are, would be interested in any books in that condition.

I am in no way a comic collector, I buy things that I like to read and then toss them in a pile. These things are meant to enjoyed and shared with others, not kept in an airtight vault.

Eh.

I dont even know what Akira is but had to look up ebay to see prices. They sell for like .99 cents each plus $3.50 for shipping.

Did you really think that selling used books for almost what you paid for them would actual sell? I just bought a book on ebay from a bookstore that cost me $4 total shipped. The book price new was $29.

Sell that shit on ebay. I would bet they sell for $5- $10 for the lot.

I know this is a dead topic but that link is nothing at all what I am selling. Those are some completely different comic editions, that's not the newer complete 6 volume reprint. The ones I am selling are going for $20 a piece..

Your link is to a copy being sold by a collectiibles business with over 3000 eBay transactions. You're just some dude with a few funnybooks. There's a difference. People will pay more when they trust the source.
