Indie comic distro'd by fireman press. written by Rob Schrab about a world in which you can buy weapons out of vending machines, the most popular of which are intelligent robots that kill a specified target and then self-destruct.

I fucking loved this book, it kinda left open ended, not sure why I thought about it the other day but I went looking online and supposedly after almost ten years Rob Schrab is going to finish the series with a final double sized issue and then release all 20 something issues in a over sized hardcover.

La Cosa Nostroid is the story of Tony Tastey, Intended to be a one-shot, this story concludes the Tony Tastey sub plot that runs through Scud 5,6,7 and 8. It also sheds light on Tony's past, and gives the audience what they came for: Mafia and giant robots.

Some of the funniest shit I have ever read in a comic. It only ran 9 issues but it was a great book. I am trying to find the trade out there but I am having no luck :(

Any other Scud/LCN fans out there??

Don't forget the Scud cartoon that came out in the mid-90s

Man, Scud was great. I really thought the title would take off and whatsisface would get a lot more comic work, but he pretty much vanished.

I remember reading about it in Wizard and thinking it sounded cool, but I never found any of the issues. Did he gain a human arm that belonged to a werewolf at one point or am I thinking of something else?

I wish Scud had been collected into a trade.

Good thing there's an oversized hardcover coming containing every issue.
