Will have fantasy mode if anyone cares. (I play a lot of fantasy mode)
2 player online Co-Op vs computer or human
Player controlled animations.
Alternate uniforms
60 frames per second animation (30 fps for PS3)
Finally sounds like a Madden game for the 360 that's worth a shit. 06 was garbage, traded it in for 07, and got only 5 bucks for it, and 07 wasn't much better.

Every year I tell myself I won't buy it, but I end up buying it...this year sounds like more of the same
But its not high in priority right now...fits behind NHL 2K8 and some other things...hell, i might get the AP Football game...

Have not read good reviews on the 2K game, most have said that it's basically 2k5 for the 360. Which was a great game, but not for 60 bucks. I'll probably have to rent first this time. Reserved Halo 3 and GTA 4 today though.

This is something I don't get, and it applies to other games as well. Why is the 360 seemingly getting preferential treatment over the PS3? On similar games we are hearing stuff like this better framerate or they get more, and better content. I have yet to hear of a game on both systems where the PS3 was given more.
Do these companies forget who was the king of the consoles for so many years and without them they wouldn't have made a fraction of the money they have made?

I've always gotten Madden on the release date, I haven't cared for the game the past two years and might wait until football season to start before I pick it up. I just got The Bigs and haven't played that much.

I read good reviews and also read that fantasy draft was in for the 360
Great so far, blows away the first 2. Weapons icons are a nice feature. With fantasy draft you can throw hall of fame players into the pool. New animations are real good looking, especially the catches. It records all plays from the game so you can rewatch them at the end, and it picks out the key plays from both halves so you can watch them at the half and postgame.
Only minus so far is fumble frequency seems way high, which I'm not sure is more or less unrealistic.

I know it is available for XBox, and I think gamecube. Would it be worth it to pick up on a lesser platform?

I think it has to do with the length of time the console has been out for. I remember getting the 360 and Madden '06 and people saying that EA just rushed Madden to the market for 360 owners and it was true. They left off all of everybody's favorite features and had nothing to say for it. Now, I hear similar things about EA and the PS3. Of course, EA may be getting more money out of Microsoft than they are from Sony prior to the games being released.
