Hello, my name is Friday and I am a Hayseed in disguise as a northern yankee.

I go line dancing at the Colorado Cafe and tomorrow night I will be sporting my jeans and cowgirl hat at the Kenny Chesney concert at PNC Bank Arts Ctr.

Is anyone else hiding a super secret personality trait??

I'm a witty, hilarious person in disguise as a boring zilch.

Couldn't tell, could ya?

As white as I am, I really like hip hop music. I guess that would be my super secret personality trait.

Why aren't you living in Hartford, Bridgeport or Meriden, CT then?

The north I know starts at Coney Island, so its not surprising to me that someone who lives way down in southern jersey somewhere likes country music. you ARE a southerner!

You're not alone Friday. The New York area is the #2 market for all sales of Country Music CDs. There is a lot out there - most of them closet Country Music fans!

And yet no country music stations in NY.

Friday has an excuse at least, the Mason Dixon line does run thru NJ.

the first town i lived in as a kid had less than a 1,000 people in it. i spent a lot of time at my grandparent's farm growing up playing in the woods and swimming in ponds and creeks. and my grandfather was a john deere salesman. add all that up, and i guess im a hayseed.

I was raised on country music,I know how to line dance, and some of my best friends are hayseeds(whatever that exactly means.)I was born 50 miles outside of Boston and I've lived in too many places to be prejudiced by much of anything.I don't consider myself a racist, yet,I love ethnic jokes.I'm not a bigot however,I have my personal likes & dislikes.Mostly,I dislike intolerance however it manifests itself especially in me.

The point guard is Sherron Collins, minor injury. Brandon Rush just had surgery, wont be able to do anything for another 4-6 weeks I believe. Like most seasons they should have a good team, just need to pull it all together..

I learned today that the Mason Dixon line could/should be a lot farther north than it is...the Pennsylvania people just ended offering more bribes to Mason and Dixon than the Maryland people did, so the line got pushed farther south

Contrary to what my old Mod quote said, I have neither a lovely lawn or a little dick.

My dogs are killing the fucking lawn, and as far as the dick part goes . . . . . you'll just have to take my word for it. (http://www.interracial-blonde.com/img/500/388.jpg) NSFW

Mom/Dad grew up in Brooklyn/Manhattan respectively, then to Queens then to Long Island. Even given that I cannot fight how much Hayseed I have in me. My brother moved to South Carolina. I grew up spending many a weekends in Pennsylvania where we had a pond, acres of babbling brook, a chicken coop and a bunk house/barn. I drove my father's john deere many times and I wish I could lasso a wild horse. I've been to fairs where the main attraction was cow pie bingo and pig racing. I've never been 4 wheelin, have all my teeth and don't understand Nascar.
