micro sd cell phones

my cell came with a 1 gig micro sd card. is it possible to use a 2 gig card in this drive? i am so dumb with this stuff

I actually have the same question. I'm not worried yet, since I haven't filled up my card. I was just gonna buy a 2 gig one and see what happens. I could try reading the owner's manual, but what fun would that be? So many pages!

there shouldn't be any problem. the card's capacity has nothing to do with the phone, much like hooking up an external hard drive to a pc.

btw, 4 & 8 gig microSD cards should be coming out next year.

You'll have to check your cell phone's manual. Some of them can only recognize up to a certain capacity.
