Sinestro Corps

This is a new Green Lantern storyline that has just started. I think it is really solid and has brought alot of recent and past villians all into the mix. Its only basically 2 issues in so there's time to catch up. I won't go further into the details of things but Sinestro has set up like his own version of GL Corps. I recommend picking this up over the current Marvel crap that is going on. Maybe I have a DC bias but I think its alot better.

I have been out of comics for a while (they are like heroin to me), but this new Sinestro story arc really has me interested. It never made sense to me why the Qwardians only had one or 2 rings out there and didn't create a "counter-Corps."

However, I am DEEPLY pissed off that they brought back Parallax and that Kyle Rayner is the host. F-ing infurriating! Kyle is one of my favorite characters and I hate that they have turned him into a bad guy. Almost as angry as I was when DC turned Hal Jordan into Parallax in the first place!

yea, i've been getting interesting in the Sinestro Corp. They had the One-Shot of it and then it follows into the Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps issues. I wonder if the whole Sinestro War is going to merge into Countdown in some way. Kinda like what they did with Amazons Attack. But, they've been making brief mentions to that.

I'm trying to get my hands on the original "special" that started the Sinestro Corps War. I missed the first printing because I didn't think it would be any good and it sold out.

Currently I order my comics from my old comic store in NYC, but I only get comics every three weeks so now I have to wait another two weeks to see if I got the second printing of it.

The new Green Lantern comics have some of the best storylines I've read in ages. Superboy Prime & Cyborg Superman with yellow power rings? Kyle Rayner as the new Parallax? How awesome is that? I think the Guardians of the Universe imprisoned him or held on to him after Cyborg Superman killed Hal Jordan's home turf, Central City. Which caused Hal Jordan to become untstable and succumb to the Parallax. But, I'm not sure, it's stuff that I've read.

I agree completely. I think this combination of villians is one of the best thats been out there in a long time. Its something that makes so much sense to do but noone did it to just now. I hope it ends in a way that makes sense. I like Kyle as Parallax. I think it has to be someone that we like. That way it hurts more when he destroys evereyone.

Well, I don't know if all the Green Lanterns are going to die like last time, I think they'll call in the JLA or someone to help them. They kinda have to, the amount of power in the Sinestro Corps is just ridiculous.

I thought it was really great, and am suprised (somewhat) by the implications of the Blackest Night storyline.

Yes, to the first question, and as for the second, so that you read the Green Lantern Comics until then to find out about the BL's. And we'll probably see the OL's, PL's, etc. during that time.
