Did anyone else check out the premiere of this show on Spike which stars John Leguizamo as the leader of the bank robbers and Donnie Wahlberg as the police negotiator?

If not, I strongly suggest catching a replay. IMO this was a good episode and it looks like it's going to be a damn good series as well.

I liked it as well. And it's a one season show - 10 hours total... so I think the action and storyline will move quickly. It's a typical bank robbery into hostage situation plot, but I like the ex-soldiers angle and I'm guessing we'll see a lot of their backstory.

But I am already hoping the daddy's little rich girl gets popped.

I liked a lot more than I thought I would(i don't have a lot of faith in Spike TV). The fact that there are four cast members that are or were cast members on The Wire will make me watch it just for that. The only thing that got to me was the Wahlbergs charachters gramar schtick, it got silly after a while.

OK, my impression of this show (based solely on previews) is that it's a cross between "The Nine" and "24."

I hope I am wrong - I would be interested in checking it out, but don't want to waste my time if it is going to suck.

I never watched The Nine, so I can't speak to that, I guess it's close to 24 just in that it's one continuing story through out the season, but it's not in real time like 24.
I haven't seen to many episods of Prison Break but I have feeling it's something like that as well.

All in all, I don't think it's great show, but compared the rest of the crap that they put on TV durring the summer, it's watchable.

i kept seeing the commericals for it and i wasnt paying real close attention to it and just thought it was for an old movie that they were gonna air

i might check it out ,but they already said its a one time series thing ???
