Hey Guys i have a question... On Friday 7/20 my lady friend and i went to the 8:00 show at the comedy cellar... Jimmy was on the bill but never showed up... I was pretty disappointed.

I knew that the traveling virus tour was in boston tonight 7/21 so i was surprised that he was going to be there in the first place.

My question is this... do you guys thing that jimmy blew the gig off? or is the comedy cellar falsely putting Jimmy on the bill to get more people to make reservations?

i think they put him on the bill almost everynight since he will "just show up" there.

i guess it is but i think they list:

schedule subject to change at the bottom. i know it is a cope out, he is there just about everynight.

I don't look there all the time but most of the times I've looked recently he's not on there.

I highly doubt they are putting Norton's name up there just to drive up reservations. For anyone I know who lives in the area and knows anything about comedy clubs, the Cellar is pretty widely recognized as the best for the money. They don't need to have Norton listed on the bill to do well.

I don't know. at the end of the show, i looked around for anyone who was disappointed. No one was... it was a great show regardless. I have never seen Keith Robinson live , (he mc'ed) he was great. My girl and i were in the front row and he was ripping on the whole front row except us. He kept looking at me, almost like he was thinking of something to make fun of me for, but it never came...

75 minutes of comedy and a buzz for $60 in manhattan... can't beat it... we're going in 2 weeks.

Jim only does like 15 minute rough sets.
