I just picked up this DVD today, and had never heard about it. Sergio Leone directed it, and it stars James Coburn and Rod Steiger. Leone originally intended the film to be called "Once Upon a Time...the Revolution." It was released in the early '70s.
I plan on watching it tonight, but I was wondering if there was anyone that that had already seen it.

It's one of Leone most uneven efforts for various reasons.
1. Leone was not going to direct it just produce. Was forced by the two stars to do so.
2. James Coburn's role was originally written for a then a very young Malcom McDowell
3. Coburn's awful accent which changes by the scene
4. Does not know if it wants to be taken serious or be a comedy
5. Moves really slow on a whole.
I'll still going to pick up the DVD at some point. But in really no rush to do so.
Look for "My Name Is Nobody", another Leone effort. That he was going to direct but was to sick to do so. Terrence Hill and Henry Fonda that's all you need to know

I still haven't watched the flick due to unexpected events, but thanks for the insight klaus.
"My Name is Nobody" with Terence Hill and Henry Fonda; sounds interesting and worth checking out.

I don't know the music kinda made it difficult to be taken seriously for me.

Well My Name Is Nobody was not really to be taken seriously. Since Terrence Hill's character is pretty much the same type he was playing in those Trinity westerns.
I mean if you want serious Henry Fonda Spaghetti Western go rent Once Upon A Time In The West.

I bought that new Leone boxset but haven't watched it yet.
However, I did read a review that Duck, You Sucker! has been restored to it's original format and length and much better than the edited Fistful Of Dynamite, which was shown here in the U.S.
