Nancy drew.... Starring Mini-Ron!!

I have kids. I took them to go see Nancy Drew at the cheap seats over the weekend. There was this kid named Corky in the movie. He was a little chubby smart ass womanizer. All I could think of whenever he was in a scene was OMG!!! that is mini-Ron. He is exactly what I pictured Ron to be as a kid. It made me laugh.

Yea i saw it & now come to think of it it can pass for mini ron. Like when he pretended to be choking @ the game so he couyld get kissed by Nancy..

His name is Josh Flitter. He's from Marlboro New Jersey and, believe it or not, I've been swimming in his pool. His dad was a Sales Manager at the company I used to work for. As far as I know he's still there. He had a backyard party at his house, about four years ago, and had me and my family over.

At the time, the kid was doing catalog modeling and was breaking into commercials. As I recall, he was in some commercial where all these kids were working in an office and they dressed and acted like adults - I forget what it was for. The big thing at the party that I recall his parents talking about was how he and his mother were going out to LA in a couple of weeks because he got a role in a pilot starring Wendi Malick. I guess nothing ever came of it because I never saw it on tv.

I saw him last month on Leno, and later Carson Daly, talking about Nancy Drew. He's also in that Robin Williams marriage movie that's coming out. When i saw him in person you could tell he was a bubbly little kid. When I saw him on Leno and Carson Daly he just got on my nerves. He's like one of these kids who acts way too old for his age, and I hate that. Looking at his IMDB page, he seems to be doing very well for himself though.

for some reason that was the exact kid i thought of as a mini ron, not even knowing it's the same kid from nancy drew. didn't see either movie, but just from the commercial for the stupid wedding movie i could tell.

This kid's been picked to replace Jim Carey in Ace Ventura 3. He's really going places. Sad that this is my only brush with "greatness".
