i have to disagree.
being part of an elite food group (breakfast meats), they are a "go" for any meal.

ice cream is really frozen cream and sugar.

carbonarra sauce is a heavy cream sauce with bacon in it.

i would try it.

As weird as this sounds, its not as crazy as you might think. You might be amazed, for instance, how much sugar is in a so-called "Savory" dishes like Lemon or Orange Chicken, sesame chicken at a chinese place. And alot of those marinades you buy for most steaks are about half corn syrup.
