It's always the way....you don't know what you've got till it's gone. Al Dukes as "Producer Whipping Boy" was the best ever. I have been recently listening to the R&F.net files of some old Al Dukes bits and it floods me with happy memories. Come back Al! Turn Earl into the phone screener and take your rightful position as radio punching bag!

I agree, Al was a radio gold mine that makes all other gold mines look like pyrite

Al Dukes is odd, probably odder than Earl but could possibly be better.
You could do worse.
He is willing to give to the show not eff it all up.

Al Dukes has moved up and moved on.... He does great things and is rewarded with better things....
This is why Earl is forever... No good things, no moving up, no moving on.....

No better producer than Al Dukes. Bringing him back would bring back the "I'm gay" drops and those were just funny.

He actually sounded cool and not-crazy during the Paul-O meltdown.

He actually sounded cool and not-crazy during the Paul-O meltdown.
He did, but that's part of why it was so funny. He got in some funny ass lines, but was so dead-pan about it.

Al is great. If he won't come back, how about J-Dubs or Jefe! or both!!

As far as the ~realm of possibility replacements; i vote for anyone-but-Earl.
He seems to be a genuinely nice person, but isn't at all suited for this current role.
