Today O&A did a bit where they played songs from movies to get Tommy B. to cry like "My Heart Will Go On," "Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong," etc. and I'm wondering what are some other of these songs?
Here's one they didn't do- Somewhere Out There from American Tale (no I didn't cry from the song)

isn't this the ronfez.net messageboard?
what exactly is a "cry" song?
is "wind beneath my wings" one of these songs?
i don't understand.

Why didnt u cry. and why did u have to make a point to say that u didnt cry
dont be afraid
but any way i think its the movies that make you cry more not just the song the song is just the background of the scen but maby some poeple will say its the song but i would say its the story

I feel like I'm "reposting" but there are three songs from a Wim Wenders' film soundtrack that reduce me to a blubbering pile of tears:
"Days" (covered by Elvis Costello)
"Fretless" REM
"Calling all Angels" Jane Siberry with k.d. lang

My favorite is one O & A actually played during that bit...Unchained Melody, a.k.a. the theme from Ghost.

That Toy Story 2 song that R&F play always gets me.
I feel so unwanted and lonely, just like that little doll.

That song's title is Iris.
The ending song in the movie Here on Earth...not sure what the name of it is or who sings it...always brings a tear to my eye.

If I ever hear that awful "Cool Rider" song from Grease 2 again, I'll probably weep like a girl.
But maybe that's not what you meant...
