Seriously, though...bottom of the ninth, two out, no one on, and the NL trails by 3 runs. They score 2 and then load the bases before finally losing.

Could you imagine a football game where the home team is trailing by three touchdowns with 2 minutes to go and making it that exciting? Or even a hockey game where one team trails another by 3 goals late in the 3rd period?

The absence of a clock is what makes baseball the "anything can happen" sport and the tension that you felt watching that ninth inning is what makes is such a special game.
