There isnt a lot for this category...but there are some songs you listen to out of context for the season. Fro example you listen to "surfing USA" in the dead of winter in NY. For me, I listen to many many songs on my Itunes, but the one that draws me close to this category is a song from Weezer called "The Christmas Song." Even in the dead of July. I like the song, I think it applies for anyone inspite of the time frame. But maybe it is the title that throws it off for me. Ohhh well....

I think I will be the winner of this if it was a competition...
Picture this...
Thanksgiving dinner with the family.Over 20 people feasting on enough food to feed a third-world country. We are all sitting around at the dinner table...bellys full...and my mom's Carpenter's CD comes up on the CD player...I had so much tryptophan in me I was too lazy to change the CD.
***for those who are clueless Carent Carpenter died of a eating disorder***

I just listened yesterday to Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant, a song typically played on Thanksgiving for some reason.
Another would be The Pogues, Fairytale of New York.

I'm really OCD about music and I only listen to it during the appropriate times of the year. Charlie Brown Christmas is just so much more special when you keep it on the back burner for 11 months.
Also, there are certain artists that I associate with specific seasons and I can only listen to them in those seasons...
For example: Sufjan Stevens and Joni Mitchell are Winter
Go Team and Broken Social Scene are Spring
Widespread Panic and Phish are summer
Fuck the Fall.
