Anyone who is or was a fan of the The Tick comic or cartoon should really catch the Live Action show, Fox, Wed. 8:30. Patrick Warburton, "Puddy" of Seinfeld fame, plays our favorite giant, blue superhero to moronic perfection, and Arthur is great as his mindful sidekick. The rest of the crew is re-named; Die Fledermaus - BatManuel, and American Maid - Captain Liberty, no Sewer Urchin unfortunately; from what I understand Ben Edlund the creator is responsible for this, why I don't know. But I digress. The names may have changed but the spirit of the show is there, with all the manic hijinks you could want. I was reluctant to see this thinking it would be a watered down version of the original, but it's not. If you cried when Comedy Central pulled the show from its Sunday night time slot, Fear not, citizens! The City is safe once more.
