Music on CT & Jivin

I was wondering what songs you guys use in the show. Opening theme, movies theme, closing theme, etc.

The only ones I really know are the science bit, which are Blinded Me With Science and the X-Files Theme.

the song we use in the opening is 96 Quite Bitter Beings by CKY. for the live free fm shows we used:

Get Off the Internet - Le Tigre
Ellen and Ben - The Dismemberment Plan

for the end of the shows we use Deceptacon by Le Tigre.

As for the podcast stuff CT will have song and band names but i know we use Gorillaz & Arcade Fire among other goodies.

Intro at 2:06:02 - Arling & Cameron - "Dirty Robot" (2001)

We have a number of others we use as well, of those listed there I would say Gorillaz and Handsome Boy Modeling School are used a lot as both intro/outro music.

I figured it might be helpful if you want to be able to hear the :30 samples to match a name to the tune you recognize.

One other one we use a whole lot, one of my faves, is "Sold You An Alibi" by Superdrag.

notable omissions (they aren't on itunes)
Deltron 3030 - "Positive Contact" (2000) - we use this as an outro a decent amount
Arling & Cameron - "Dirty Robot" (2001) - intro/outro, used relatively infrequently
