I was just at Sheetz (convenience store) and saw "The Reload". It comes with 4 ping pong balls and 40 plastic cups. The funny thing is, it says on the back of the package, "Not intended for use with alcoholic consumption". That's odd, considering Their website is getbombed.com, and the 100 pack of balls it called a "keg".

Even more funny... The only Sheetz in town that sells these, is the on that's on the campus of Shenandoah University.

Yeah, its crazy..

I remember Spencer's gifts starting to sell cups and balls that were packaged in a similar manner a couple of years ago.

A friend of mine has had this poster up in his apt for a long while now

Why should you have to pay for beer pong? It's like marketing anchorman, but I think that's too much.

It's actually a pretty smart idea. They are up on the counter right next to registers. The students go to this store to buy their beer. They're dumb, fun loving kids (I was one once). One of them will point and say "Duuuude... we gotta get that!".

You got a point. Marketing right is what sells. When I was a dumb college student as they say, "back in the day" we built a pong table that saw many games of beer pong. Great game, but no pussyfooting.

That's a great idea. You know how hard it can be to find ping pong balls in a small college town at 9 pm on a Saturday?

Exactly, excellent synergies going on here.
