did anyone watch this show? i downloaded it today and really enjoyed it. It was funny and had a decent message. i'll definitely be watching this til they cancel it.

I was actually expecting it to be much better than it was. It's possible it will improve tho.

I don't know if the two other ppl in the world who watched it noticed this or not...a fatal flaw in the first scene(s). There was this whole obsession with the kid getting his braces off (and presumably how that fact would make things much better for him at school) but when he showed his mom his teeth, they were seriously imperfect.

Things definitely picked up when the host kid bonded with the Pakistani kid & then again when the host mom stopped being such a superficial cunt (tho I'm sure that theme will be revisited again & again).

Everything I watched that night seemed unnecessarily clunky. How I Did Your Mom was lame. And I finally watched an ep of 2 1/2 Men only cuz Garofalo was on it. Even tho I watched it for the express reason that she would be making out with Cryer, it was an unbelievably wrong thing to witness.

After that, it was mostly Cryer & Sheen running around shirtless & I was ill prepared to see such things. There was one scene with a half naked Sheen hanging off of a balcony & all I could see was "old man back." I didn't realize how disgusted I would be to see ppl my own age as sexual beings.

Holland Taylor was great tho. It was good to see her again. At least she thought well enuf to keep her clothes on.
