In conjunction with the release of the Simpsons movie later this month, several 7-11's around the country have been transformed into Kwik-E-Marts.

I shan't be travelling to Prince George's County to see it. I will stick with the local Speed-E-Mart.

What made them choose PG County? I might actually make a trip out there to see it, even if it does include an increased risk in getting shot.

I was at 7-11 today, they had Simpson's stuff up all over the place. The soda machine had Buzz Cola advertised on it, but there was not Buzz Cola in the machine. The Slurpee machine had Squishy written all over it, but there were only the same old Slurpee flavors available. I'm just a little disappointed.

Because I've never seen a Simpsons episode I really thought
that 7-11 was bought out by some company name Kwik E Mart.
It wasn't until I read an article that I figured out what was going on.

Did they have Colonel Kwik-E-Mart's Kentucky Bourbon or Lard Lad Doughnuts?

Wonder if they will accept Itchy & Scratchy money. It's like regular money, only more fun.

I went to the 7-11 near my house Tuesday evening, and they finally had starting selling some Simpson's related items. They had some Buzz Cola six packs, Krusty O's, and a Radioactive Man comic. I picked up the comic book, it seemed like a really good idea after 10 beers.

I went in knowing that it was mostly just the dresesing up the building so I still thought it was pretty cool.

You people are afraid of Bladensburg???? Remind me to take you'all to an actual bad neighborhood.

That location was picked because it does the most buisness of any 7-11s in the DC metro area.

Which 7-11 is that?

I went to the 7-11 near my house (also in South Arlington) yesterday, and saw BITZ (!!!), former uber-intern from R&F's WJFK days.

He is a Simpsons character waiting to happen.

I haven't forgotten - I just haven't gotten it - yet.

The donuts with sprinkles was a priority...did I mention they were pink? glazed? and with sprinkles?!
