My wife and I had to drive up to Idaho for a funeral last week, and we missed the wedding show on Thursday.
I downloaded it for the drive home, and with the addition of yesterdays (Monday) replay, it was a real Fezzie roadtrip.
Fez was on fire for the wedding show, and he is a completly different guy on the old best ofs.
I had never heard of Ron and Fez until XM, and am so glad that they are playing the older stuff now.
A road trip w/ stocked up R&F is THE BEST!!!!
Goes by so fast.
Fez was on fire at the wedding show and I am a big fan of the older stuff, but there has been plenty since they have been on XM to showcase Fez's talents. Them being more open about behind the scenes stuff, including personal issues, makes for a more honest show, imo, and a more interesting and layered show - they don't always have to be joke-joke-joke-joke. Even when they get serious, I guarentee you I will still have some true, honest laughs somewhere during the 3 hours.

I introduced my chick to R&F on a road trip, it's definitely a way fun experience.

I drove to toronto with 18 hours of R&F on a laptop plugged into the stereo. It made the drive feel like 2 hours

I drove from LA to San Francisco and tried to get my EX girlfriend into r&f off some seriously quality WNEW tapes that I had. I was secrety CRUSHED when she asked if we could turn it off after like 40 mins. Some people truly just dont get it or want to get it. I call those people assholes.

i have found that their voices grate on women. most of the girls i have dated can not stand their voices. if they get past that though, they tend to love them

My wife enjoys R&F for the most part, but really can't stand O&A. She thinks they degrade women.

Last year regina and i drove down to Charlotte, NC. we started out at 11, we caught the show (the one with the ANTI-Comedy Pryamid) and then listened to the show the day before. Regina was hooked to the point that she was coming up with stuff for me to try to call in with. She doesn't listen on her own but always enjoys when i throw them on.

Sorry Scotts, I think I turned this into a 'how my chick feels about the show' thread.

No problem as I was going to reply to the changed thread.
My wife has become a big fan of R&F also. During the wedding show she said that her face hurt from laughing so hard.

That'd be a great thread. My wife thinks R&F are OK she has yet to become a full blown convert despite going to the Big Ass Night of Fights and having a great time. She listens to Howard Stern religiously (as do I) even though I continually tell her how superior the Ron and Fez show is.

it's great that they're playing some of the shows from before fez peaked.

I went on a road trip the first weekend after the OnA suspension, and had RnF the entire time. It was amazing.
