How the heck do you get rid of it ???

Does anybody buy these things used anymore? We've tried giving it away to some people as long as they paid for moving it but they never followed through. It's not like you can just throw this in the back of a pick up truck. I wouldn't mind giving it to a church or something but they have got to move it. What is the best way to get rid of this hulking beast? Any ideas?

Great idea Papa, hadn't thought about schools wanting it. Also have been thinking about putting it on craigs list. It just so damn heavy. Makes it really hard to move across the room let alone half way across town.

I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano, if you lived in north jersey and if I had the room I would. Now if someone wants to teach me how to play the piano or the sax let me know.

Craig's list would bother me when it comes to something that requires someone to come into your home. While your trying schools, ask some churches, too. Not that it would replace a pipe organ, but some churches use pianos.

Yikes, yeah, I don't like the sound of that either. Too many wierd-o's coming by. OK, schools, churches, or chop it up for firewood maybe. Too bad I am stranded out in the middle of hayseed central or maybe a nice board member could come get it.

when I was a kid thats what my parents did and it was always gone by morning.

Last summer I put a fridge outside, it wasnt bulk garbage day so I was going to put it in the garage for a week and then put it out on the proper day. Well I went back inside for 5 minutes and when I went outside the fridge was already gone.
