Sleeves On The Brain

More often than not I find myself with sleeves songs in my head ALL day almost every single day. Whether it is "Mightyhorse" or "Rockahula Luau" and now "Bunsen" I just hear them playing all the time that it's maddening. Plus the Lenay ditty is starting to get to me too. Anyone else have Sleeves songs on the brain?

for me it's either "Rocka-Hula-Luau" or "It takes a Rube," both of those are stuck in my head a lot. I've gotten more than a few weird looks from people that hear me sing< "We're gonna Boooowwl Tonight."

I said it in a listening thread this week, sleeves is amazing. he is the best song person the show has ever had. and his production skills are great too. i am shocked he is not in a major market working in communications. well maybe he is, i really have no idea, but if not he should be

Same here. That one had been stuck in my head for the last few weeks. It kind of went underappreciated in the wake of the enormous "Mighty Horse". I think it only got played once on the live show. It was good to hear that they dug it out to play during Friday's best of though.

one cool thing from my perspective is that I just trust R&F to play something exactly the right amount of times...from zero to whatever. They play songs more than once when it fits in with what they're doing or the vibe or whatever...but they're not gonna play something unless it fits, unless they're talking about it....

When I sent The Mick's M song in, it was at the end of a long run of Ron kind of picking up on Dave's verbal slips...but he pretty much stopped looking at Dave's language and moved onto other things and so the song just didn't flow into where the show was...
