Great shows gone bad

I have watched the first three Simpsons this season and have laughed maybe twice, I'm ten minutes threw The X-Files and I'm bored to death and don't care what happens.

I stopped watching The Drew Carey Show and Frasier last season.

What other shows have gone on too long?

Simpsons is the type of show that you don't want to admit is bad because it's such a aprt of your life. I actually thought tonight's episode was OK, wweak in points but still OK. However if this was the final season (it's not), there'd be no tears from me.

X-Files should have ended at least 2 seasons ago when it was obvious Carter was making up shit as he was going along without any direction. It became "Season premiere: Those Aliens you were tailing, they aint's aliens, they're the government, the real aliens aer comign soon." "Next Season Premiere: Those aliens you told werne't aliens are really aliens but the people who told you that are evil aliens." and so on. I turned it off tonight. I record Alias so it has my full concentration.

FRaiser, though I don't watch it, too long.
FRIENDS is obviously on too long. When one friend is pregnant by another friend and two friends are married- your out of idea.Also, Mulder found otu what happened to his sister. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN.

As for 'Carey, I wantched its early seasons, then drew didn't hate mimi so much, i turned it off, i gave it another shot and I lied it for another season or two but recently I just don't dcarre

If we're doing all time- M*A*S*H is the grand daddy of them all.

Yeah I used to watch Friends every week, but the last couple of seasons have been weak.

I watch Smackdown! on Thursdays and tape Family Guy. I watched the first two seasons of Survivor but don't care anymore, in fact I hate all of the reality shows with one exception, Tough Enough.

Shows that have gone downhill... the Simpsons although it still has its moments, Survivor and The Mole, haven't watched either, normally hate sequels!

I agree, X-Files is just horrible. It should have ended AT LEAST with the ninth season, but I think Carter's holding on for all his worth because, so far, it's the only show he's done in the last 10 years that is still profitable (everything else seems to have died off within a couple years, if not sooner).

Survivor is played at this point.

And how about this - Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I don't know how many of you watch this show, but I used to be a big fan. This season though, it's just....it's maybe mediocre, at best. At least there's the reruns on FX.

Drew carey lost it for me when they kept on singing for real i like the lip sinkin and also when he was dateing the old lady that was fucking sick

I like simpsons seasons this year the halloween episod was crap though it had some laughs

what about dark angle i was kinda likeing it last year then they moved it to friday and it has all these mutant things or what ever

X-files it was over like in 97

freinds is still good i think brad pit is on this week but it does seam like they should end it i dont know why though i like it but i dont want to see it go down hill witch other think so already

And buffy rules this season i so so so like those songs from the singing episode there stuck in my head but i know non of the words so im like humming it all freaking day like a fairy

maby tv has also lost its goodness cause of ron and fez id rather listen to them then watch the same shows i used to watch cuase there just better then whats on most of the time.

I'm with you guys. It pains me to say it but The Simpsons hasn't really turned me on for a few seasons now.

I never missed a minute of the past 2 Survivors, but haven't seen more than 30 seconds of the current one. Blech. I blame that mostly on the real world being tough enough. That and how predictable it has become. The casts are all the same demographic spectrum and they aren't real people anymore. They are people that want to be famous, they don't want to win for winning's sake.

I obsessed over the X-Files until the movie came out and that just turned me off completely.

I liked the X-Files movie but the show is JUST SO LAME. It's boring, nothing is happening. ALIAS is much better. Also, evne though I don't watch it, I think Survivor is dying.

Also shows I dont' watch but I know they've been on for a LONG time- Touched by an Angel,

I was just going to post my own thread of disappointment in FOX shows but then I saw this post, so here goes. I watched SIMPSONS last night. MAN< they are OUT OF NEW IDEAS. That was the WORST EPISODE I have seen in a LONG time, and the appearance of REM, although they are my favorite singing group, was totally pointless. So then I watched X-Files, one of my favorite shows, especially last season, but OK ARE THEY AILENS OR A FBI CONSPIRACY? Enough all ready. WHERES MULDER AGAIN? AND WHAT THE FUCK IS SCULLY'S BABY. I dont think the producers know what the next episode will hold. THE ONLY SHOW I CAN SAY that has gotten good this year is South Park, first two episodes have been hysterical. I still watch survivor, but they really need to do something about Brandon, the GAYEST MAN ON TV. That has lost something from the first two seasons. Thats about it, I will stick with Simpsons, Survivor, and X-FILES for the year, and hope each one still has a few gems left in it.

It became obvious (Chris) Carter had no idea what he was doing once the black oil was introduced.

Say what you will about Buffy but at least Whedon has a definite direction for the show.

7th Heaven is still on and while teh oldest chick is hot and younger chick is black it's a bad show. Also yes, Creek should be off air, it was popular first (two) seasons and then everyone left it. Felicity wasn't even popular the first two seasons and if that broad didn't win a Golden Globe the show would probably be over

A show that has gone down hill is POWER RANGERS after powerangers in space the show ended they didnt need a lost galaxce and when ther hell are they doing as time force it doesnt even make sence where there zords come from anymore

its time to hang up to hang up the real world unless they try to get better people cause if i wanna watch a bunch of people act black i would pay more attention in school
