As indicated by Ron, they are still under contract with CBS Radio. Which means if they were going to another station, they'd have to go to CBS.

CBS carries Jack, K-Rock, Fresh, the FAN, and two news stations.

Please explain to the class, since you enjoy starting threads so much, why you think Ron and Fez would go to a station that 1) doesn't exist any more and 2) if you're referring to 102.7, why they would go to a female-oriented soft-rock hits station.

I did not know or care WNEW changed its callsign to WWFS when the format changed.

Ron and Fez have a more female friendly show and a version of their show on terrestrial won't change the Fresh 102.7 format.

I really hope you're being sarcastic. Otherwise... eeeeech.

It's a possibilty - a stretch, but a possibility - for R&F to come back to K-Rock. Why would you even suggest 102.7 as a possibility? Why do people have this weird affinity for the station frequency and call letters?

Jim Kerr used to be on PLJ. I'm not clamoring for him to go back.

I was just thinking the same thing, but as a mitigating factor, she oversaw Star and Buc Wild *AND* Miss Jones, so she's used to dealing with edgy morning talent.

tell Liz she is still on my Christmas card list. Scott, Ross, Mr. Leonard, John Bell, Claire Stevens, Brian Wilson, Gary Bryant, Mr. Stress, The Morning Zoo in the 80's was where it was at. I was hooked, till I heard another morning show debut on 92.3. That guy changed what radio was into what it could be. Too bad he believed his own press. That was then, now, i really do not want either one of them on my radio, well if i even had a radio to listen to. The only radio I have is in the truck and in the 6 months that I have owned it, it was one station programmed in it. Other than that, the IPOD, XM and internet radio are all I listen to. For me, unless R&F go back, I have no reason to ever listen to free radio.

sticking to the topic on hand. i cannot see R&F going to another FM station other than KROCK.
