For all you Wilco fans, there's a Jeff Tweedy live performance on Sundance right now, followed by I Am Trying to Break Your Heart. Mucho Wilco for ya.
And more coolness... after I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, they are showing The Doom Generation.

Seeing Wilco tomorrow night for those who care at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank.
Can't wait, they're always a great show...

Whereas I completely understand it, Jeff Tweedy must be really hard to work with.

How was it? I tried to get tickets for that. Sold out too quickly and people were asking mad prices.
So... I'm going tonight at the Hammerstien! With moe opening up. Should be great.

I hate to ruin it for you, but it's not MOE....It's LOW.
Different band.
I'll be there too...Start shouting out like the Nature Boy and let's represent RF.net!

i dvr'd the tweedy thing on sundance (i think it's the dvd 'sunken treasure'): i've always enjoyed his solo tours, particularly the stage banter -- very funny and witty
the crowds at those show were annoying, too many people wanting to interact ... "woos" are okay, anything more is a cry for attention
i'm just angry that i got boxed out of tonite's and tomorrow's show

A little late getting into this thread, but I saw them last tuesday in Atlanta. It was a good show, but would have been better if it wasn't raining cats and dogs the whole time. I guess that's not the band's fault.
This weekend I saw the Drive-By-Truckers at an outdoor festival here in Athens and I swear I saw Fezzie. My first instinct was to shout out "WOOOOOOOOO" but I guess it wasn't him. Probably not since this guy had three kids, and Fez is.... a bachelor.

Great show last night!
I was up front 3 people from the rail on the Pat Sansone side. Mix was awesome. Jeff was funny and upbeat. The crowd down front was the typical drunken retard crowd...but everyone was diggin it and having fun.
I was reading some other accounts of the show and people were complaining that there were too many drunken assholes on their blackberries...It's NY HELLO?! Blackberry central!
I couldn't tell you anything about the rest of the venue...but from my POV...KILLER SHOW.
Jeff, John, Glen, Mikael, Pat and certainly not least Nels...Some of the best musicians on the face of the earth at this time.
Ryan Adams tonight...how will I stand?
Setlist.

I was there too, first time i've been to CBT and i actually enjoyed the place. It seemed like whereever you were seated you had a good view.
Everyone outside was trying to buy tickets off of people walking by, I half jokingly told my boyfriend i wanted to sell our to make more than what i paid for them.
I saw them around this time last year at Starland Ballroom and they were great then, too.

Ryan Adams tonight...how will I stand?
Damn right! Fantastic show. I couldn't get anywhere near the front and everytime I went for a drink I lost my place so I was in the mid-back most of the time. Some of my highlights: Handshake Drugs, Via Chicago (with the great Kasey Casem upbeat temo into a damn death deadication line by Jeff before the start!), and that Spiders kicked ass as always. The two encores were awesome too.
It's been 2 years since they were in NYC?! They have to come back more often.
And where is Ryan Adams playing tonight? I always miss that guy... he puts on great shows too.

It's neck and neck with the Replacements. I think Wilco is just getting more recent messages.

The best thing about going to a Wilco show right now is that they look like they are having tons of fun up on stage...Not one person goes without smiling up on stage, the whole night.
Lots of fun.
Pat Sansone is a true comedian up there. He does lots of funny things that you wouldnt notice unless you watched him.

Yeah, my first time at that theater as well. It was great. Red Bank's a decent little place and there's a bar right across the street. Good time...
I sold 2 of my extra tickets to the first person who asked for not that much. I'm an idiot but I just wanted to get rid of them.
I was at that show at Starland as well. I thought that show was a little better cuz they had horns for some songs....
