OK- I have been watching this show for a while and I know that they are just illusions (and even Chris Angel admits this) but WTF... the guy buries David Blaine in the sand. I swear the guy has sold his soul to do half these tricks.

I cannot even begin to try to figure out how he does half that shit.

My fav was when he ripped the girl in half at the torso in the park and she started hobbeling away with her arms- I laughed hysterically in disbelievement.

I love watching the guy. He plays up the whole "dark side" act so perfectly, and the illusions are amazing.

On one hand I'm dying to know how he does some of the tricks, but on the other I also get a kick out of being mystified.

Its not an appreciation thread so I welcome positive and negative comments. I happen to like the show.

I enjoyed the 1st seanson the best, the 2nd got a little lame and I think this is the 3rd and it's really bad.

It's way too " commercial " now.

God bless the guy for making money but I think the show suffers now.

It used to be he'd do 2 or 3 small tricks on the street and finish with his " grand " trick.

Now his small tricks have to be with somebody famous or mention the hotel he's in and his store.

I wish he'd go back to more of his street tricks.

I'm also very tired of the " concern " his mom and brothers have when he's doing the " dangerous " stunts.

That's gotten stale.

Another thing that I havent figured out is who his wife is/was.

The first season they had some chick that they labeled " Criss' Chick ". The one with that most annoying of LI accents.

In the 2nd season he was seen with some hot blonde.

Latest news is that he's getting a divorce from a woman.

Is it possible it was the one from the first season ?

He's got great tricks so I wish he'd focus more on that.
