Italian prosecutors are investigating the Da Vinci Code for "religious obscenity." Come on Italy! (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070619/film_nm/davinci_dc)

If it was against the law to make an awful movie, then they should be in jail!
When did Italy turn into Saudi Arabia?

I think Italy should worry about which side to be on during a war...then of course flip flop and jump on the winning team.....

Italy should be more worried about the Mafia taking over that country.. Politicians are getting bought by the Mafia left and right there.. My uncle lives in Milan.. And he said its such a huge problem there.. Maybe they should get that under control before anything else..

If the US went to war under spurious circumstances in Iraq, what do you think we will do if Italy goes after the much beloved Tom Hanks and Ron Howard?

Italy should go fix its Mafia problem over in Sicily before it throws shit-fits about this. It's a sad statement indeed to say that administration under Mussolini did the best work towards realizing a cleaner more crime-free Italy.
Italy should go and review it's generally sexist, misogynistic culture that seems pretty strongly anti-woman, see if they can't get into the 21st century by 2199.
Italy should get some modern goddamn toilets and updated hospital/medical facilities.
There's alot of things Italy should be mad about and wanting to change, all things that should take precedent over outrage because of some dumb movie that's been off the silver screen for nearly a year now.

So far this year we've had Richard Gere become a fugitive from India, and now we have Italy going after Tom Hanks. The world must really hate our actors.

Word (as the kids used to say when I was less old.)
& if Italy is going to worry about anything these days it should be picking up the garbage, especially in Naples.

Talk about "religious obscenity". This is my favorite movie. It was banned in Norway and Ireland for a while, but I don't believe Italy gave a shit.

They're safe as long as the US doesnt give the two the boot
Italy pretty much decided to cast away the two actors
Looks like Italy just wants a pizza the pie
Italy is really in a league of their own
Let's just hope they don't send out an angry mob
They might make the two walk the green mile
This situation's getting a little greasy...
The day the two get out of prison will be a happy day

I know, right? Living in their own neighborhoods, propping up THEIR culture instead of AMERICA'S, bringing a subversive and criminal element with them that's plagued our nation from within for decades now...they're all scum.

I'm all for this. Ron Howard should go to jail if for no other reason the fact that he's a bald, middle aged man who everyone still calls "Opie". And Tom Hanks should be imprisoned just for being so damn nice. Nobody's that nice, he's hiding something. Whatever it is, throw him in jail for it and find out later what it was.
