I have a surround sound system in my living room, but because I have no where to hide the wires, I have them running right through my living room.

Does anyone use a wireless speaker transmitter, or know of any decent models?

The best reviews I've found so far are for the RFU-6100 (http://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-RFU-6100-Wireless-Surround-Speakers/dp/B000278KJE), but even that is only 3 Stars. And its $200. I have no problem paying for quality, but I'm worried in sinking $200 into something that might not be that good.

Not what you're looking for exactly, but you can buy hollow baseboards to run your wires in.

I live in an apartment in Boston. I was actually able to get in here while they were building the apartment, but they still wouldn't let me run the speaker wire in the wall or behind the baseboard.

This Samsung Bluetooth Surround System looks good, but it has some mixed reviews.

obviously, anytime you go wireless as opposed to wired, you are going to lose quality.
you could always pull up the moulding on the floor very carefully and run them around. a simple hole in the wall, and drop the wires down and fish them out.

or, more complicated, could be to snake them up through the ceiling.
that would require 5-6 holes to be in the wall, which of course are small and could easily be patched up.

True, but to be clear, depending upon which way your soffetts run this can be more difficult. Bose makes all of their lifestyle systems with an addon you can get for wireless rear speakers. Traditional wireless technology does not trasmit data fast enough to give you real quality, Bose uses a proprietary technology which speeds transmission.

but its still wireless....

And it's still Bose...

It operates outside of the normal frequencies, or the most commonly used ones.

Does anyone have any experience with this flat speaker wire that you can paint or wallpaper over?
